A scene of pine trees in a traditional Korean house village in Seoul, known as hanok. These hanok, confined to shrinking pockets despite the city's development. The presence of pine trees is emblematic of Korea's cultural heritage; however, their numbers are dwindling due to the impacts of climate change, forcing them to migrate towards the northern regions of the country. Through this artwork, I aim to capture the enduring essence of Korean architecture and beauty.

South Korea
I am an artist, paint Korean pine trees and landscapes. I depict tree trunks that are bent and red, symbolizing their strong vitality in harsh environments. They thrive despite cracks in the rock and heavy weather, mirroring the resilience of human lives. https://yswpaint.wixsite.com/swtree
