This series of paintings, The Museum of Trees, is based on climate change, global warming, the destruction of our planet and the fantasy that perhaps sometime in the near future we will be viewing trees in a museum instead of out in the open air. These pieces are also a statement on the alienation of our society. Each of the paintings in the series has an assortment of people NOT relating to each other as they view the specimens. The figures and trees are train miniatures, about and inch high, which were then assembled into a landscape, which I photographed. This is why they are rather stiff, and other worldly.
