Roumiana Sekoulova is a contemporary Bulgarian artist and teacher. She works in the field of visual and plastic arts for architecture. Participates with textile panels in group exhibitions of applied arts in Bulgaria. Her works are owned by the Museum of Applied Arts in Sofia, the Ministry of Education, hotels, the Bulgarian Embassy in Germany, etc. As a specialist in art history / PhD from New Bulgarian University, Sofia / in the study of the relationship between visual arts and architecture, she taught drawing, form building and design in the architectural departments of the Universities in Bulgaria. She has been showing paintings in solo exhibitions in galleries in Bulgaria since 2008. Participant in Art colonies in Bulgaria and Serbia.Lives and works in Sofia, Bulgaria. Her paintings are done in classical techniques, such as watercolors, dry pastel and oil on canvas. The works that are filled with dry Pastels Gallery Mungyo have dimensions of 50 cm / 70 cm or 65 cm / 50 cm are painted on colored Mungyo Professional 200 grams Recycled Heyda acid free, cotton paper and fixed with Lukas spray film for pastels, they are without glass and require framing. Her paintings are executed with Talens oil colors on linen canvas, turpentine and finishing veneer Sennelier. They have dimensions of 50 / 70 cm, 65 / 54 cm,46 / 55 cm. With the pastel and watercolor paintings I am searching for discovering my genuine sensibility as an artist for the public - the beautiful harmony between my own aesthetic credo and the plastic result which needs to be assessed by the modern viewer. I believe when such harmony is reached in a material expression, the encounters in the exhibition halls are always marked by glorious elevations on both sides. All my works are reincarnations of emotions and ideas in which I am searching for discovering the intricate dimensions of the time.
