From the ongoing Series "Wandering" Frame not included - Unlimited Editions Archival 100% cotton rag paper prints have a 1/2" exterior white border for matting if needed when framing (can also be float framed). This was photographed off the coast of Big Sur, California in a secret location. This is 100% real. One shot. Not a typical constructed image of mine:) It's unique that way. All of my work comes from dreams of mine. This one holds a special place in my heart. The eucalyptus forest was a dream and the sun peaking through at just the right time.... It could not have been more magical.

NOTE: OTHER EDITIONS & SIZES AVAILABLE ON MY WEBSITE (if not available here) | American, born 1978 - Paxton Maroney is a Dallas based multidisciplinary artist with a focus on conceptual art. Though she is known for her surreal constructed photography works, she uses a range of mediums to express her innermost feelings and thoughts. Paxton introduced herself mainly as a painter in 2003 but soon after found her love of photography. She is now allowing herself to let all of her skills bleed into one another including photography, digital painting, watercolour, gouache, mixed media, installation art, collage and design. As she continues to add to her repertoire, no matter the medium, the artwork is distinctly of her own accord. The imagination, tone and expression of the works comes from a place no one else can see into. For several years, she has awoken from vivid dreams, often in the middle of the night, and drawn the images composed on the backs of her eyelids. Inspiration comes from life experiences and this is why she creates. She is allowing you to view her world, on paper. For Paxton, her dreams aren’t stories so much as they are symbolic images that tend to reveal a deeper meaning. She creates art for herself and will always state "If someone else connects to them as well, that is the bonus. However that may be."
