The work takes to the flora and fauna , the fantasy world and man as inspiration. His artwork tells us of transience and eternity . Contemporary superlatives dating back to long before our era. The dynamics in the work of Van Wijk follows its own rules and sequence . The tactile properties of the materials with which Olivier Van Wijk works are of great importance . My father Dick van Wijk graduated at the art academy in 1971. I'm the second generation with the fortunate position to have access to a high end clientele, build by my mother and art gallery owner Mariska Dirkx.
