I am a self taught artist. working with oils is my first love, but acrylic is fast to work with and non toxic. I used to paint what I used to see, however now I paint what I feel. Using Acrylic mediums has given me so much to experiment with. I wish to share my method so I am working on my blog. Alas!, I am not a writer.
I believe I have found my style in acrylic texture paintings and every piece is going to be a distinct one. When I start a painting the only thing I am aware of is the color that the painting is going to be. The subject which may or may not be present is totally up to the painting. With abstracts the biggest hurdle is to know when to stop.
I believe everyone has a darker and a jovial side. So some of my paintings show the darker side, however by choice I like to keep them positive.
