In my enchanting collection of small textured paintings and collages, "Latitude of Home" stands as a mesmerising tribute to the tales carried within the weathered walls of an old derelict house, in the Black Valley of Kerry, Ireland. Drenched in the colours of moss-covered stones and vibrant rust, this small masterpiece captures the heart and soul of a bygone era. I have tried to bring to life the intricacies of the worn-out beams, the vacant door, all standing in solitary resilience amidst the ever-changing Irish landscape.
