The Pink Fae Artwork - Limited Edition of 50

The colorful artwork is from my new collection of AI generative artworks in which I seek to explore new territories. I see AI as another tool in the artist kit, a piece that can help provoke, inspire and redirect the artist as they work with it to test the bounds of creativity. The process starts with an idea, my idea, my description. Then, like someone who knows nothing of the world, the AI system generates what those words, sometimes individually or together, would filter out of all the lines, colours and pieces of information in the internet itself. It reassembles these into an image that equates to the information entered. You can then take that version or you can combine, split or add to the initial input to generate alternatives. You can add your own images to the mix to see how it reacts and, like a big experiment, you wait while the system generates a result.The results are completely bizarre and impossible to predict. The entire process takes many iterations to create something you like, something with a spark. Totally addictive. As a full time photographer and previously a scientist, I love new ways of looking at the world. My new Collection of portraits started with a dream of mystical modern fairies, naughty faes and imps. This imagining was brought to life and is completely unique. There are billions of options and no two entries will create the same image, making these has been fun and a truly unique experience. Image size 18 x 30 inches with a 3 inch white border for a total of 24 x 36 inches. Printed on exquisite fine art paper that has fantastic black depth and holds the colour for a lifetime, even for bold colours. Edition of 50 at this size.
