This was done Plein Aire in Tulum Mexico. I liked the idea of rendering in black and white, and hoped the viewer would bring the color. When I'm doing the work it's mine. When you look at it it's yours. We all make our own reality.

Born in Brooklyn, New York in May 1938. Yes I am a crone. I studied Sculpture at Bard College and graduated in 1960..Since then I have had no formal art training. I work in colored Pencils and recently have added them to Acrylics. Since I moved to where I live now, in the high peak area of the Catskills, I have become enraptured by the light here.
