Original signed copy, as well as limited signed edition prints available in A4 and A5 (series of 10 for each size), created during a work in progress that has already been exhibited once at the Bastille Design Center in Paris, France. This work has been created in a series working between violence and spirituality, creating a navigation to the violence. This work is a self-portrait representing the self-introspection state of somatic remembrance. With a simple work of the line using pen on paper, the artist works on simple representation of emotional transformative state. This character represented on the drawing will evolve and travel within time in the other series of drawings and transforms itself through the visual narratives. There is no background landscape, and in this description of a visual narrative, the character is floating into an introspective state. A few wooden-like sticks are implanted into her skin, creating deep wounds from which the blood is flowing. The lack of background refers not only to the body floating into an introspective state, but also to the 'In-between world' that the artist paints and draws throughout her art. A world between worlds of the spiritual realm, where neutrality and passage between different landscapes is possible. To the artist, each drawing is a door into another world. Not only is the art transformative, but it also offers the possibility to look into different windows of our world. To the artist, art offers an opportunity for inner reflections, questions, progress and transformation as well as spiritual evolution and travels.
