About The Artwork

Portrait of Sumatran Tiger. It is carefully worked out and very Detailed. The Paper fully covered by Graphite, it has a visible strokes. To fill the most darker areas I used 8B Pencil, it shines as all Graphite Pencils (strong metal gloss). Take a look at the Drawing on a distance and you will see all its beauty. Drawing has got UF Varnish Protection (KRYLON Workable Fixatif 1306 Spray), you can touch surface if it necessary. But the Paper still needs protection. I advise you to get framing under glass. Graphite Pencil - Faber-Castel (9000 Atr Set). Paper - Stratmore Drawing Paper, 80 lb (130 g/m2), 18 in x 24 in (45.7 x61 cm) This Drawing got the Artistic Double Mat Board - Gray over White. Both of Mats are easy removable in case if you would like to change them. Hello! My name is Victoria Chukalina. I'm from Redmond, WA. I'm an independent illustrator, wildlife photographer, designer and a fine artist. I was born in Central Asia, in sunny Uzbekistan. I got a sound education in Russia, Ukraine, Poland, France, Indonesia and the USA. I love all living creatures of our Mother Nature: the most portion of my works are portraits of animals, landscapes and botanical illustrations. And I'm in love with street life sketching. I travel a lot. I've visited more than 50 countries, climbed a couple of highest mountains and rafted along the most rapid rivers. Traveling gives me an opportunity to get a valuable experience and inspiration for my new artworks. I like self-education and I'm constantly in search of something new and interesting. I'm open to new projects and initiatives. I like to challenge myself, learn and improve my skills every day and every moment! At present I'm into self-publishing of educational literature for children and beginner artists, and anti-stress coloring books for adults. I prepare my material very thoroughly by learning the history and peculiarities of objects I depict. I try to work on every single detail and make my illustrations look appealing and perfect. In this way art electrifies!
