About The Artwork
When not in use, the Meccano People return to their jammed box and try the best they can, to find a comfortable place to rest in. It's imperative to do this, as it may be a considerable period of time before they are let out again. They slowly shed the stiff armatures so they can mould into more appealing postures. The reason for their being is for the assistance to children, who become agitated and impatient at disappointing constructions and who then , break or toss parts and pieces anon. The Meccano people find this an added misery and hence their agreement to mentally assist in the child's play, by mindfully coercing pieces into their correct places.
