I love music, especially live music. This piece was inspired by the feeling of glee that one feels in the magical moment of communication when the crowd and the performer merge as one. The feeling is wonderful. I tried to convey how the crowd is one massive body, made up of a mass.

His main influences are Henri Matisse, Émile Bernard, Paul Gauguin, Edgar Degas, Paul Henry, and The Scottish Colourists, especially JD Fergusson.
