About The Artwork

Inspired by an impression of a feeling of a real life experience which remains uncertain of occurrence! The thought and feeling behind this is intimate - intimidation and threat! Somebody does not like who visits There is a form of possessiveness near by? It had been taking quite a while to get my home back to being the haven it once was Busy working all hours then becoming immersed and preoccupied with writing and creating for company of self healing works Time is overruns Things become overwhelmed I return home and immediately know something is wrong An energy has literally come and gone, and there is trace of water Which was not there before I had gone Because it is puddling! But, I cannot prove to anyone it is not what I have done! So, I have to believe like it never happened! Yet, it belongs to a long style and pattern of abuse The force of water? I grew up in a house which had fungi in the form of mushrooms growing up the wall, due to the house adjoining a commercial property where there was leaking inbetween the walls! I was to escape the pattern of water for many years Until............ I moved to get away from the issue of anti social behaviours/stalking Only to experience water leaking and damp in a property for four years straight! Damaging my belonging Precious pictures etc Thankfully most things were salvageable! So, as the need of someone to stalk, and intimidate my life continued once I had moved away, and continued to move on. This is my impression only of what my feelings relayed to my imagination as to what may have happened in my home, on the day before a guest was to arrive! In the background I place memories in a frame, and framed on a table Memories of intimidation It seemed no matter what I did They had already planned to be there, and got there This specific memory relates to a group of women! Women who for some reason like to specify their feet? In another experience on a very rare occasion I went to a cinema Whilst sitting watching the movie in front of a group of women who sat behind me, and literally as I turned my head, from the row behind was a woman with her feet propped up, almost on my should which meant as I turned my face, her feet could almost touch my face. Despite this the woman still had to be asked to move her feet! But, who was she hiding, or helping? Someone close in my life hated me and as time has gone on, and I have lived with these 'created' incident. I have become weary of the need of someone to be hidden. Over time and Years it could be difficult to recognise someone In healthy circumstances a person will respectfully reintroduce themselves In stealth they will tend to duck and dive amongst everybody else! Natural Flowism! A Freedom of Being! Impressionism, only! In my written work I have now decided to explore these themes as though they are a film pending to be made! ^ Amen! ^ Selah! ^

Born in London. From kitchen table top, to connecting to the market place creating a hub of creativity. I have had the opportunity and privilege to live and experience many different area's in England and addresses in and around London, living in different social conditions, with a different set of challenges and joy's at each location. These experiences continue to be the biggest influence and inspiration for my work to date, inspiring imaginative impressions, which translate into expressions of fictional characters, and decorative designs. Whilst I did attend formal schooling, I did manage to achieve leaving secondary schooling without qualifications. Later gaining qualifications by investing in vocational training. I initially took up sketching to help me with clothes design, attending a local community college, it was a cheaper option as a young parent at the time. I come from a background of naturally creative people, where things like clothes were made without patterns, or any prior preparation for design. It was a time of instinctive survival, with a jump in and get it done way of living and thinking, learn on the go type of attitude toward life. Writing poetry plays the role of being my first point of creativity, it is a combination of free flow journal writing, "free flow" is a method of unblocking personal expression. Examples of this is the pen sketch and textile remnant journals, where poetry, meaningful sayings, and short messages meet. Expressing myself through writing journals, poetry, and even finding a way of writing threw creating an image, led me to explore painting as a further means of deeper self expression, exploration and release. What emerged is a spontaneous method of painting, composition admittedly is not a study in every piece initially, but emerges in the form of allowing a subject to develop in a space, in whatever form or position it takes. Coming from the era where Art was not seen as a proper job, taking that notion on - for a long time. I struggled to come terms with art as anything other than frivolity, despite being a creative. To understand my work further; The experience behind the creative process. Throughout my life as a child to present day I have been effected by the collection of behaviours known as Stalking. As a child and teen I witnessed others experiences.
