About The Artwork
The Colored Glass IV is the fourth study in a series of artworks that were strongly influenced by my past soft glass sculptures and modern lampwork metal fumed art glass. Each of the artworks were worked up from the same fractal and represent difference stages of creating a fumed glass vase. Once the new artwork was rendered, it was digitally enhanced using a mix of digital painting techniques to enhance the images realism. While working on the series, I came to the realization that the artworks would have an even stronger impact when displayed on a grand scale as seen in the mockup. The art will be printed on a high quality metallic paper then boned to a 5/16" hardboard floating panel with a 5/8" acrylic overlay. This digital artwork is an on demand limited addition that will be printed and shipped directly to you. NOTE: Custom size prints available for commission

Many pieces originated as photos, some were taken around the world. Dale used past painting training to digitally “repaint” the photos using a variety of software.
