Freight is a piece within this full documentorized collection. A deep dive retrospection of forty decision making years, and what a life. Then and not now. I recall all of the masks that I have worn; was taught to wear, the pretty and not so pretty packages which could last up to 3 months, but mostly a day. This mask was the brutalized one. I had this desire to be amazing, and fell in love with being on stage. Creating sounds people came to hear. This came with a price. I was beaten by the guitarist in this particular group. I was so ashamed to talk about it because in the 80's one never exposed another. So I got really good at compartmentalizing you and me. No one knew and I performed under the guiles of "Without you I am nothing. I stayed with the group for years; until I did not. This terminally unique desire to be on my own led me down a path away from you, towards even lower companions; only to realize that they were just as guilty as me. Even their company wasn't worth living for.The light hadn't shown for several more years. The piece, "Special Delivery" comes into the collection much later... How do we (I) heal from this? One intention at a time. My body, to break it down in digital sketches, code, glyph, journaling, over time this has been an active part of healing from a lifetime of wrongful doing.
