Ships in a Box
Glass Evolution is a manually created geometric abstract digital illustration. The geometric fractal is made up of glass planes evolving into an open flamework art glass marble. The individual glass panels' transparency and the ascending nautilus pattern creates a beautiful 3D effect. The image was inspired by handcrafted marbles and art glass collaborations by Freddy Faerron, James Yaun and Bert Langan. All of these artist can be found on Facebook in the Marble Collectors Page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/248654881841458. Colors were picked from a selection of Freddy's marbles. The image was originally digitally illustrated at 60" W x 40" H. allowing for some amazing depth and detail to be used to trick the viewers eyes. The full sized original print will be mounted on aluminum Dibond panel with .25" acrylic glass.

aGeekonaBike Photography™ is the pseudonym of Dale Mitchell. Dale is an avid bike tourer, professionally trained photographer and artist, who wanders around the world on a decade+ old Trek 540. Always carrying a camera on his bike, Dale is never afraid to ride off the beaten path or become temporarily lost to get that once in a life time photo. Dale has received both formal and informal training in urban photography, sculpture, painting, drawing, glass blowing and technical illustrations from such American artists as Dave Davis (photography), Paul Pletka (oils, lithography, watercolors), Michael Atkinson (watercolors) and Burgess Roye (pastels, acrylics). The pieces on available in this gallery are select samples of his ability to reimagine his photography skills into beautiful works of digital art. Many pieces originated as photos, some were taken around the world. Dale used past painting training to digitally “repaint” the photos using a variety of software.
