About The Artwork
This piece was created with the basis of multiple inspirations. It can be interpreted as many different versions and that is why this piece is so special, the way that it is viewed is all based off of the perspective of the viewer; an additional reason why I love abstract art so much. For me in particular, the two lights are myself that the goals within my reach... I am having to make it through a very beautiful and rewarding challenge to graduate and obtain my advanced practice license... just like the painting, it is so close that I can see it within my grasp, yet still... I must overcome one last challenge before I am able to get to that point... just as the lights are making their way toward one another, I too am making my way toward something great!

Creating vibrant abstract paintings is my passion and delight. My process mainly consists of creating physical texture that draws you in and layering beautiful colors that pop, in an effort to create a piece that commands presence. I use a variety of mediums to bring my inspirations to reality; my favorite medium is acrylic. Many artists that I have spoken with, do not like how quickly acrylic paint dries, yet I love it for that reason and use it to my advantage when building layers. I also use gesso, heavy gel, glass beads, sand, rocks, feathers, varnishes, tape, and etc to bring my visions to life!
