About The Artwork
The painting is textural and expressive in nature. A moody sky looms over a distant village on a misty morning. Everything seems to be engulfed in a mysterious grey fog with glimpses of gold , copper and black peaking from beneath. The texture was created by modelling paste and thick layers of paint. The artwork was painted with artist grade acrylics on a deep edge canvas stretched on wooden bars. It has been signed at back and varnished to protect it from dust and other atmospheric elements. The edges are clean and it can be hung without a frame . I will send it with a hanging fixture attached.
