The painting represents a luscious woman who takes a pose. In the fashion industry models are perfect. Here, I wanted to break the code and voluntary drawn a woman which is perfect in her imperfection. This painting belongs to the series 'Elles', a series which echoes with the fashion magazine "Elle" and also designates 'Elles' (or they) to talk about the "Nana" by Niki De-Saint-Phalle, the free and luscious women made during the feminist movement in the 80's.
