About The Artwork

Adam Sorg is the main character in Color Me Blood Red, an exploitation classic from 1965, written and directed by Herschell Gordon Lewis. It is about a failed painter who in a fit of rage kills someone and then uses their blood as red paint. Well, the painting becomes a sensation so he has to kill more people to get more of this "red paint" to make more pieces and become more successful. I find it's a common story in the art world.
