About The Artwork
One of ten street scenes based on my time in Valencia between 2007 and 2008. The series focused on the Fallas Festival - something that draws people from all corners of the world. Capturing mood, light and movement were paramount to my purpose; and whilst most of the paintings were night scenes, Apple Jam is set during the day, and was painted as a companion piece to Lens Flare, Status Blue.
