About The Artwork
All my paintings are rebellious. It seems into all my work against convention. These paintings are fun. They are paintings of shapes and colour. I work with a limited palette to simplify the construct. The object is never fully formed. It allows the viewer to create their own story. We are in essence just a construct of shapes and forms. The marks create the shape in a tightly constructed piece. My artwork is more Buster Keaton than Charlie Chaplin. The fun, the humour and the open ended.
