About The Artwork
From my mythology collection. Benzaiten was a japanese river goddess who was known to influence good fortune, language, arts, music, poetry and wealth. She is known as one of Japan's 7 gods of good fortune, and is commonly referred to the preeminent muse of Japanese artists. For this painting I decided to shift my canvas to a 45 degree angle, and give it the diamond shape you see here. 24" x 24" acrylic on wood panel.
