My Hebrew name is Tzipora, it means bird. I am in love with winged ones and their flight. I’m enamoured with this look of birds in the sky, floating, soaring freely. so I have started a series of bird studies. This one took many many hours.the eagle represents an inscrutable strength, and seems to be queen of the skies. The birds are also a spiritual image, in that they are the go between heaven and earth. The image portrays a trust in one’s strength , as the eagle does, and a willingness to float freely and trust Creator to hold us.

Art making is a spiritual practice for me. As on the meditation cushion, every state of mind arises in the studio, and it's a mindfulness practice to keep the brush going on the painting, keep my heart open and follow my Spirit . I began drawing and painting in Montreal, Quebec and now live and have a studio in Nova Scotia, Canada. I still enjoy sharing and teaching drawing and painting with individuals and small groups , in person and online. My artwork is Comprised of what I call gently abstracted painting and drawing, in mostly acrlylic and graphite on canvas. I am currently enjoying painting the visions I'm shown. It's new to me that I am so aware of them .Offering subtle symbolic representation, I see images traversing worlds , between Spirit and earth , dissolving boundaries, exploring unknown space.Always Seeing the beauty and the splendour. I enjoy exploring colour mixing and painting in an improv freestyle these days, as the Spirit moves me , in new for me, colour palettes. Recent landscape work portrays mostly imaginary quiet pictorial space that infers a timeless sanctuary, with a taste of infinity, on earth as it is in heaven. As I have been seeing Spirit animals and birds, and winged ones , I will be introducing them.
