Brexit, a dream once held so dear, A promise of freedom, a future clear. But as the years passed and the votes were cast, It became clear that this dream would not last. The nation divided, the people torn, Leaving the EU, a path forlorn. Businesses suffered, trade came to a halt, The pound dropped, the economy vaulted. The people's will, it seemed, was not done, As the government struggled, the people undone. A deal proposed, but rejected with disdain, Brexit's failure, a nation's pain. But though the road ahead may be steep, We must not give up, nor fall asleep. For a brighter future, a better way, We'll find a solution, come what may.
