About The Artwork
The last of my Anti-portrait paintings. For me its all about process and colour. The human face is built up of shapes and its shapes that patch my anti portrait together. It is only the composition that makes the painting a portrait. Things that resemble our every day lives is the main element of my work. My last 2 paintings contain names. Names that are more to do with nostalgia than the object in the painting. This is an oil on stretched canvas.
