On a beautiful crisp winter day in Florence, Italy, I captured this image of the equestrian statue in Piazza della Signoria. The painting took over a year to finish, where multiple levels of glazing created the realistic quality of this painting. This painting was featured on the banner, and on the book of my latest one man show at Palazzo Medici Riccardi, in Firenze. (December 2015)
