"Dreamland No. 1" 30 x 30 x 1.5 in. Created with layers of watercolor and acrylic paints over several days resulted in a gorgeous ethereal effect. This listing is for one painting. The image of two paintings shows an example if you were to collect more from this series. The sides are painted with watercolor - primarily in the green shade. 1.5 in. gallery wrapped sides- framing is not necessary. Wired and ready to hang. Protected with matte varnish. I'm an abstract artist from Atlanta, Georgia. I create my paintings using a variety of mediums, including acrylic paint, oil paint, alcohol ink, texture mediums, and oil sticks. My work strives to create a thoughtful and emotional experience drawing you into a world of color, texture, and mood. My approach always starts with a decision to be open and surrender to the moment. A mix of intentional and intuitive paint pours, gestural strokes, or marks create a dance of color and texture that are both spontaneous and deliberate. From there I allow the process to guide me, free from judgements or limitations. As I paint, some elements get covered over while others are revealed again, and the finished painting contains a rich, layered history. Art has become an important part of my life to nourish, heal and connect with my intuition and what I need spiritually to share with others.
