About The Artwork
Being in ancient ruins in England and Scotland, I could imagine the people who lived there in medieval times. Textures, smells, and echoes filled my senses. I always use acrylic archival paint on canvas. Hardware included with this piece. I start with paint, colors, scrapers, brushes and let the subject and composition emerge. I want my work to be powerful and I hope the viewer will see this.

I start with a blank canvas, usually 30 x 40". I apply paint with a palette knife, then scrape, leaving the underpainting texture. With a brush, I begin to compose with shape and line, leaving the scrapings show, to create depth. My work is unique and contemporary. Style is different from anyone else.
