EL PAIS. Where is the country for women? Painting

Materials: Canvas, Acrylic, Newspaper, Paper, Beads. A tree of life, an Edenic plant, from whose trunk appear proud Amazons holding a rooster on a leash. This image underlines the importance and strength of the female element in the creation of life and in the interpretation of the world. The female figures, in their representation muffled and faded by a veil of paper, live in the balance between the pride of their role and the bitter awareness of the reality of the country, or rather of the countries. But is there a country for women? “EL PAIS. Where is the country for women?” it is a work from the "EL PAIS" series characterized by the representation of a paradoxical world, but no more than that which we live in. However, there cannot be a single message but only what the observer can personally experience under the effect of colors and shapes. Un albero della vita, una pianta edenica, dal cui tronco appaiono fiere amazzoni che tengono al guinzaglio un gallo. Questa immagine sottolinea l’importanza dell’elemento femminile nella creazione della vita e nell’interpretazione del mondo. Eppure, esiste un paese per le donne? Le figure femminili, nella loro rappresentazione ovattata e sbiadita da un velo di carta, vivono in bilico tra la fierezza del loro ruolo e la consapevolezza amara della realtà del paese, anzi dei paesi. EL PAIS. Where is the country for women? è un’opera della serie “El Pais” caratterizzata dalla rappresentazione di un mondo paradossale, ma non più di quello in cui viviamo. Eppure la denuncia, qualora la si leggesse, sfuma tra le righe sovrastata dai colori, perché non può esistere un solo messaggio, ma solo quello che l’osservatore può personalmente sperimentare sotto l’effetto dei colori e delle forme.
