About The Artwork
"Egyptian daily" is a recollection of my visit to Egypt in 1987. The picture was painted in two stages in 1987 and 1992. I was impressed with the life of people, the colorful market urban areas, many colors and abundance of objects and goods of various kinds, and the people remained reconciled with their daily lives, in the guise of wisdom and hid the mystery of their lives. Young people seemed premature and matured. The style is classic oil painting on linen canvas, layered and multi-layered with elements of surrealizam.
