About The Artwork
'Fishing', an original oil painting by Karyn Robinson. As a photographer, the Oceanside Pier was good to me that day. I caught these two boys eagerly peering over the fence as they were fishing to see the action below. It was golden hour on a beautiful, sunny California day and the sun glinting off the water cast the boys nearly in silhouette. Just behind me stood a woman taking in the scenery which I've also painted. Like I said, the pier was good to me that day.
