Guiding Light Painting

With over ten years of experience working as a corporate trainer for the public and private sectors, Australia had her first artistic experience when she delivered art "work" that she had created as Christmas presents to her close friends. Australia is a divorced mother of one child who spends her free time with family and friends, traveling, writing, reading, and cooking. The artist cited the ability to express oneself in a variety of genres, including art, as her favorite aspect of being an artist. "I’ve always been interested in art and design, and I love helping people find the perfect piece of art for their space,” she said. "Art is all about having fun and enjoying the process. I like to experiment with different mediums and techniques, and I often use found objects in my work. I also love to incorporate textiles and patterns into my paintings, as they add another layer of interest and texture." She actively serves on the board of LifeSmart Education, a nonprofit company that develops educational programs for kids in underserved areas.
