About The Artwork
This piece is part of my watercolor journal "Daily News". I record a scene from everyday life and in the next 24 hours I paint it from memory. This "exercise" as the purpose to train my eye for composition. I like to study the space where the scene is happening, how humans relate to the space, I try to capture the unity. I love human activity, some of the recurrent themes in my "Daily News" are commuters, workers, worshipers, busy streets, coffee. But workers particularly has always interested me. They are the invisible hands that shape our world. I like to be the witness of the invisible.
