About The Artwork

The painting captures the vibrant hustle and bustle of an Indian local bazaar, where an abundance of mangoes and litchis are being sold. Created with an oil painting technique using a palette knife, the canvas breathes life into the scene with its textured strokes and rich warm colors. In the foreground, the canvas comes alive with the artist's deft use of the knife, showcasing the tactile quality of the thickly applied oil paints. The bustling market scene is portrayed with a myriad of colors - deep oranges and yellows for the ripe mangoes, their succulent forms exuding a luscious appeal that practically invites the viewer to reach out and taste their sweetness. The litchis, depicted in shades of crimson, are arranged in woven baskets, their textured skins almost palpable with the raised layers of paint. The canvas resonates with warmth as sunlight filters through the canopy of makeshift stalls, casting golden hues that play upon the faces of the vendors and the fruits they sell. The palette knife work adds a dynamic energy to the piece, capturing the movement of people in the bazaar - shoppers eagerly inspecting the produce, vendors engaging in lively conversations, and the colorful chaos of the market in full swing. The artist has skillfully employed the impasto technique to create a three-dimensional effect, giving depth and realism to the canvas. The strokes are bold and expressive, giving the painting a tactile quality that invites viewers to run their fingers over the textured surface. Overall, the painting encapsulates the essence of a vibrant Indian bazaar, enticing the senses with its warm tones, sumptuous fruits, and the lively atmosphere, all brought to life through the artist's masterful use of oil paints and palette knife techniques.

I have long enjoyed the beauty, tranquility, and lush environment this area affords. I am a wanderer, a beauty seeker. Traveling a lot and I find inspiration in the beauty of the places I am blessed to see the mountain, forest and crowd of the town The subjects I choose to paint are frequently inspired by the crowd of the town, like street and local market I enjoy here. My journey as an artist has come full circle, and I am grateful to be at this point in my artistic travels. During my childhood, I enjoyed drawing, and excelled at realistic representations of landscape, live drawing using oil and acrylic paints. I occasionally dabbled with watercolor and, but enjoyed the detail of oil paint the most. I am blessed to see. Always my eyes are haunted by City Patterns, people movements, crowded areas, local cultures of the region and my surrounding. The rhythm of the crowds seen from the distance fascinates me. In my personal artistic vision the people actions, that urge to be translated in differently morphed palette knife strokes and marks interacting with each other in various ways and generating the painterly quality of the impasto textures that I love so much. My paintings are textural impressionist, abstract figurative, with references to expressionism and realism. and the use of soft and dynamic colours depending on the subjects. I am fascinated by soft and rich and luxurious chromatic that you can explore and reinvent by working the medium of oil paint. For me color is my passion. I have been always attracted to vibrant, pastel tint and shades. Painting gives me unique moments of freedom ... l think that art does not need to confirm expectations, can be intriguing, even anarchic, if it is necessary... l live and create thinking that life is not measured by the breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away. That's why l'll continue to create because this is what l do....
