About The Artwork
Painting representative of peoples of our ancient past whom we know little about with the exception of their art, tools and some times architecture. All other life forms leave behind only fossils of themselves while we alone leave behind those things we created. It makes a statement that we can eventually create what ever we can imagine. And it makes me question, if as a species, will we eventually create ever lasting life ? Or will we in the end be the cause of the extinction of life itself ? And what role will art in all it forms play in the final or eternal answer to that question ?
