Even though I painted this in summer the idea stuck with me after a storm in spring, just before summer officially came. During that storm I was stuck in my small studio and couldn't go home until the rain stopped. So I sat in front the window instead and watched the raindrops race. I don't have any specific thoughts when it comes to what I want people to see in this piece, see whatever you wish and don't let me stop you! :D And as always the subject matter and style is what I use often, so it is what I used today as well.
