VIEW IN MY ROOM
In Japanese, the city has been called KyÅ (京), Miyako (都) or KyÅ no Miyako (京ã®éƒ½). In the 11th century, the city was renamed Kyoto ("capital city"), after the Chinese word for capital city, jingdu (京都).After Edo was renamed Tokyo (meaning "Eastern Capital") in 1868, Kyoto was known for a short time as SaikyÅ (西京, meaning "Western Capital"). An obsolete spelling for the city's name is Kioto; it was formerly known to the West as Meaco (/miËækoÊŠ/; Japanese: 都; miyako, meaning "the seat of Imperial palace" or "capital".) Another term commonly used to refer to the city in the pre-modern period was Keishi (京師), meaning "metropolis" or "capital".

Insta: bygannon Website: bygannon.com I choose the materials that suit the project and my mood. With an emphasis on colour, shape, texture and size, these are the elements that excite me the most. My abstract and pop art paintings feature my experiences and emotions obtained through travels from Japan to Belgium. As I build a piece, watching as the image is created row by row, the beauty of abstract expressionism being used as pixels creates within me a sense of wonderment and joy. Combining all my artistic pleasures is done through fibre art; I use fabric, beads, buttons, found objects silk, cotton threads, with the utmost care and time, I incorporate experiences and whatever else suits the piece to create abstract art. With the rich history of abstract art, in which many artist use to express themselves I consider this work to be a celebration of emotions, an acknowledgment of the creativity of artists of the past a celebration of the present and hope for the future.
