About The Artwork
This is one in a set of three in The Ledgewood series. I think the impetus was my appreciation of the hard-edged works of Ellsworth Kelly and Al Held. All three paintings are built around three sets of diagonal lines that form thirteen pockets for the additon of the artist selected colors of the work. Each is eye-catching and evocative. The pieces are unframed, but hardware has been attached and they are ready to hang.
