About The Artwork
This watercolor painting is part of the series of works that deal with how we travel the different paths of life. In this case, I am representing the type of person who is lying down and very comfortable, but without a planned direction. The horse represents the ways and path of the journey. The process of making this work along with my comments is recorded on video. This work was done on Stonehenge paper, which turned out to be one of my favorites watercolor papers. It's 100% cotton, Acid-Free, and contains no animal gelatin. The paper size is 15" x 22' leaving 1" white around for easy framing. The title "La Recostada Errante" means "The Wandering Recline lady" _________ Esta pintura en acuarela forma parte de la serie de obras que tratan sobre cómo recorremos los diferentes caminos de la vida. En este caso estoy representando el tipo de persona que va recostado y muy cómodo, pero sin rumbo. El caballo representa los caminos y la forma que viajamos. El proceso de realización de esta obra junto con mis comentarios está grabado en vídeo. Este trabajo fue hecho en papel Stonehenge, que resultó ser uno de mis papeles de acuarela favoritos. Es 100% algodón, libre de ácido, y no contiene gelatina animal. El tamaño del papel es 15” x 22’ dejando 1” alrededor en blanco para fácil enmarcado.

Sometimes I turn to my childhood memories to address the existential questions I want to express.
