About The Artwork
Inspired by TV series "Grant" about the famous Civil War General. I took some of the many images of Lincoln used in the series and did my own adaptation and interpretation. While painting Lincoln, I noticed his "wild hair" which relates to my previous research in to the "wild hair" movement in Italian painting.

Exhibited widely in Italy: Rome, Milan, Bologna, Florence, Terni, etc. A professional educator, taught full-time at Lane Community College for over 25 years and worked as a manager for Lane County Regional Information System.
