VIEW IN MY ROOM
Superior lino canvas Acrylic painting and golden leaves (with 22 carats gold) Loosely based on the Lion and snake by Antoine-Louis BARYE, a french romantic sculptor of the eighteenth century. Allegory of greatness dominant baseness for some, tribute to the July Monarchy and King Louis-Philippe for others, this work manages to balance excess and sobriety. Presented originally in the Tuileries Gardens , this sculpture is now at the Louvre Museum. This artwork has always been my favorite one and I have studied it under every angle to say the truth.
