“Madre de mi Dios” es parte de la serie "Diosas de inexorables y múltiples poderes ¡a despertar!", y corresponde a un autorretrato imaginario, una visión donde la artista aparece con su hijo de forma idealizada. Integrando de esta forma su propia experiencia biográfica, como madre y pintora, esta pintura es el comienzo de una investigación sobre nuestras propias imágenes iluminadas. Sujeta bien los amuletos en cada una de sus diez manos, e irradia una luz interna. Así Diana Navarrete -por medio de un ejercicio artístico y terapéutico- instala con destreza técnica cuestionamientos sobre la imagen de la Virgen, las mujeres, la maternidad, lo divino y sobre todo la capacidad de cada ser humano por crear una imagen de sí mismo en plenitud. "Mother of my God" is part of the series "Goddesses of inexorable and multiple powers, wake up!", and corresponds to an imaginary self-portrait, a vision where the artist appears with her son in an idealized way. Integrating in this way her own biographical experience, as a mother and a painter, this painting is the beginning of an investigation into our own illuminated images. She holds the amulets tightly in each of her ten hands, and radiates an internal light. Thus Diana Navarrete -by means of an artistic and therapeutic exercise- installs with technical skill questions about the image of the Virgin, women, motherhood, the divine and above all the capacity of each human being to create an image of himself in fullness.
