Each piece of work represents an update of our history, of our experience. All experiences accumulate with time create our personality, an Update in our life. Human change is an update Series. The landscape is now deconstructed and close to abstraction with unconscious allusions to the painter Hopper as a filter. In this painting, floods overwhelmed the paved road. Human creations are ephemeral. I continue my research on the Impression. A threatened nature leads to the construction of cities where people experience loneliness, voluntary or not. But the city is in its turn deconstructed under the weight of natural disasters, concrete is disappearing under the force of natural elements: storms, or floods, and forces us to question ourselves. Acrylic on canvas. The sides are also painted. Varnished matt, including UV protection. Ready to hang.

Germany
Marjorie was born in France. After graduating from Ecole du Louvre in Paris where she received a classical education in History of art and the inspiration for her future work, she worked in the museum section. From self-taught artistic training she exhibited her silver process photographs on the theme of reflection of nature in water according to the size of the aperture, effect of light and wind. She picked up the brushes once again in 2013 for her project:" the Nympheas and Japanese Screens" and exhibited in Germany where she lives and works. "I don't paint what is visible, I recompose an image according to what reality makes me feel. I dig up a memory or a photo, and I work with several layers of glazes of pure pigments blended with a combination of mediums. As the image is rebuilt, the lines are transformed into symbols and leave only an impression. My painting represents an instant of my present life connected to the past."
