Mother Love Painting

I am fascinated by all mothers love. In this painting I tried to represent the boundless and unconditional love of a mother for her child. In the left corner we have the mother and In the center of painting we have her child. I represented the mother's love that actually pours over her child using those "waves" that come over the child's face, a child that is now grown up. At the portrait in the center (the portrait of the child) I used thick, bright red strokes with the help of the palette knife, which have an agitated texture because I wanted to suggest the child's turmoil, his inner problems. However, some children, when they become adults, forget what their mothers have done for them over the years and turn their backs on them. This is what I wanted to represent when I painted the portrait on the upper right. The rectangles in the background represent the problems that arose throughout life and that the mother solved, for the good of her child. I hope you enjoyed the story of this painting! :)
