Nein! Doch! Painting

The unusual size of this painting comes from the fact that I often use materials created from old objects or waste products. In the detail photo you can see that the painting background is not perfect. There are irregularities in the wood, which made it unusable for other work. But I like to give life to such unusable materials. It is precisely this that makes the work of art unique. I started this painting years ago, but finished it only recently. For a long time I did not feel that it was finished. "Nein! Doch!" is painted with acrylic on wood. A frame is not necessary, because the edges are painted as well. My works are all structured, with hard edges, mostly geometric. Clear structure is the setting for me, to let my emotions or chance decide the colors. I do not work with sketches, the painting is created while painting.
