"The beautiful leaves will soon start falling- everything dying all around. It’s easy to fixate on everything that falls to the ground as time goes by: the disintegration of a relationship, the disappearance of good work well-done, the diminishment of a sense of purpose and meaning. But, as life “composts” and “seeds” us as Autumn does the earth- future possibilities are planted in us even in the most difficult of times...." Created with a dark, moody, yet vibrant palette of acrylic paints and alcohol ink, this painting is captivating with its shades of crimson, magenta, black and orange. Multiple layers of paint and ink were used creating depth and dimension and resulting in an ethereal and mystical work of art. The 1.5 inch border is painted in a shade of crimson and the painting is sealed with satin varnish for protection. "October Paradox" arrives wired and ready to hang with my signature on the lower right. Also included is a certificate of authenticity.

I'm an abstract artist from Atlanta, Georgia. I create my paintings using a variety of mediums, including acrylic paint, oil paint, alcohol ink, texture mediums, and oil sticks. My work strives to create a thoughtful and emotional experience drawing you into a world of color, texture, and mood. My approach always starts with a decision to be open and surrender to the moment. A mix of intentional and intuitive paint pours, gestural strokes, or marks create a dance of color and texture that are both spontaneous and deliberate. From there I allow the process to guide me, free from judgements or limitations. As I paint, some elements get covered over while others are revealed again, and the finished painting contains a rich, layered history. Art has become an important part of my life to nourish, heal and connect with my intuition and what I need spiritually to share with others.
