About The Artwork
Part of a series where I explored the themes of time and identity through hand expressions in imaginary 'realities'. Hands are very expressive, yet are more open to ambiguity in terms of identity than a face for instance. My intent with this is to convey human reaction to change without tying the subject to a single individual. In the series all hands are experiencing change, or a transient moment, as we all do, constantly throughout our lives. I hope to stimulate some sort of narrative from the viewer more than for them to have them absorb some message from me.
