This painting has a really interesting history. First painted in 1978 - finished in 2019... This is a painting of a friend- obviously, I was drawn to paint him because he was SO sexy, yummy-looking and all those good things....howsomever....I was happily married to an even more attractive guy & was a new mother....SO! I happily painted away and added into the background a painting of one of the most erotic female nudes I could find... THEN I came to my senses...painted out that female nude and made up a painting of my husband & self as Adam & Eve going nekkid into the Garden of Eden.... Well, lots of water has gone under the bridge since 1978 - divorce (mine) and ALWAYS in the back of my mind -dissatisfaction with my "Adam & Eve" solution.... SO! I chose this lovely & very erotic Matisse odalisque as a fitting expression that truly belongs in the painting.AND, as the saying goes"Bob's your uncle!" Hope you love the change as much as I do...and hope you liked the story! 1

Well, it HAS been awhile sinceI have been on my website. Again, I am SO overwhelmed and appreciative of everyone who has taken the time to look at my work, and more importantly- shared their responses and thoughts with me about my work. Some personal health difficulties and a cranky, computer added to the joy...SO! in the next few days I will be adding a few more of my works to share. Hope you enjoy the two paintings I was just able to add - along with the stories that accompany the paintings... Graduate of the University of the Arts,Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.Granted 4 year full tuition scholarship Fine Arts Sculpture major. Awarded scholarship to Aspen School of Contemporary Art Summer Program. Member of the Plastic Club, Philadelphia, member of the Mt.Airy Art Garage. Work exhibited in the United States. Paintings in private collections in the United States, Germany and Denmark. Have found that travel and painting are a wonderful combination. Started by traveling to Ireland in 2003, went to Italy for 5 days on my own, and now it is part of my way of seeing wonderful art in museums, meeting new people and painting to my heart's content.
